Babak Ziai is the Founder of BrandView Capital Partners and is responsible for investment execution and overall management of the firm’s operations. Babak is also an Adjunct Professor of real estate investment and development at the University of Southern California.
Babak brings 15 years of principal experience in over $1 billion in joint venture, acquisition and development of commercial and mixed-use properties on behalf of institutional investment funds,
capital clients and partnerships. Mr. Ziai previously served as Vice President of Acquisitions and Development at Lowe Enterprises Inc., a diversified, vertically integrated, national real estate
company with over $6 billion in assets under management. At the confluence of Lowe’s investment and operating platforms, Mr. Ziai led investments for $300 million in value-added commercial
acquisitions in the Western U.S. and mixed use development totaling $800 million in Southern California.
Babak is an executive member of the USC Real Estate Entrepreneur Roundtable, International Council of Shopping Centers and Forbes Real Estate Council. Mr. Ziai began his career as a Consultant for Standard & Poor’s where he advised domestic Fortune 500 and foreign companies on business enterprise and asset valuations. Formal education includes a B.A. in Business Economics from UCLA and a Master of Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California.
Andrew Cerrina is responsible for facilitating the execution of real estate investments, asset management and advisory engagements for BrandView Capital Partners.
Andrew previously spent 5 years at Eastdil Secured, where he worked on the retail sales team to advise and close over $15 billion in shopping centers, malls and mixed-use properties across the globe for institutional and private investors. Prior to Eastdil, Andrew worked at CBRE Global Investors as a member of their acquisitions team to facilitate financial underwriting and capital markets activities in the purchase of commercial assets on behalf of institutional investment vehicles. Andrew was born and raised in the Los Angeles area and is a graduate of the University of Southern California where he received a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate Finance.
