How We Got Here
Founded in 2014, BrandView was launched to address the underserved demand for mixed-use assets while maximizing returns for stakeholders.
Since then, its mission expanded to bring institutional investment discipline, innovation, and hands on real estate expertise to a highly fragmented and institutionally underserved investor and client base.
Our experience demonstrates that attractive, risk- adjusted, investment returns can be created at every stage of the real estate cycle.
Our Founder
Babak Ziai brings over 20 years of principal experience in over $2.5 billion in joint venture, development, and asset management of commercial and mixed-use properties on behalf of institutional investment funds, capital clients and partnerships. He is also an Adjunct Professor at University of Southern California Master of Real Estate Development Program where he teaches finances for real investment and development.
Prior to founding BrandView, Mr. Ziai served as Vice President of Acquisitions and Development at Lowe Enterprises Inc., a diversified, vertically integrated, national real estate company with over $6 billion AUM where he led investments for $300 million in value-added commercial acquisitions in the Western U.S. and mixed use development totaling $800 million in Southern California.
Mr. Ziai earned a B.A. in Business Economics from UCLA and a Master of Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California.
